Care and Share Food Bank: The Food Bank is available to Marquette County residents on Thursdays from 1-3:00 p.m. and 1st & 3rd Tuesday from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m. You are able to come once a month. If you need an emergency food bag please call (608) 297-3124

Free/Low Cost School Meals: Children may qualify for free or reduced-price school meals, both breakfast and lunch. Availability is based on family income. Information and applications can be provided by your local school.
Wisconsin Free and Reduced Meal Application
FoodShare Program: Marquette County – Economic Support East Central IM Partnership. Applications can be picked up at the office, completed online, or over the telephone. Food benefits are issued to onto a Quest – debit card. Foodshare is available to insure an adequate and nutritious diet to low-income households. Non-financial eligibility requirements for the Foodshare Program include U.S. Citizenship and a Social Security number for each household member. If you are over age 60, you do not have to register for employment. If under the 200% Federal Poverty Level, there is no asset test. Gross Income Limits Per Month.

Home Delivered Meals through Senior Nutrition Program: Marquette County DHS – Aging Unit: Home delivered meals are provided to people who meet eligibility requirements and are 60 or older. A referral from a doctor, hospital discharge planner, Social Worker, Health Care Professional or family member is preferred. The suggested donation per meal is $4.50.

Marquette County AddLIFE Senior Dining Sites: There are four meal sites that serve lunch in Marquette County. There are no income guidelines for participating in this program. There is a $4.00 suggested donation for all seniors over 60 or their spouses. Call by 3pm the day before for a reservation. (608) 297-3146

Nutrition Supplements from Marquette County Senior Nutrition Program:
You can purchase cases of Ensure Plus from the Marquette County Senior Nutrition Program. One case contains 24, 8-ounce containers. Flavors available are: Vanilla or Chocolate.
Boost Plus and Glucerna are also available upon request. Flavors available are: Chocolate or Vanilla.
Allow at least 1 week for delivery and call for pricing.
The Senior Nutrition Program Supplements need to be picked up at the Human Services Building, 428 Underwood Ave, Montello by appointment only. They may be delivered upon request if you receive Home-Delivered meals.

Second Harvest Food Bank: Is a mobile food pantry that delivers in multiple locations. They request that you call between 8:30 am – 5pm for information and bring your own bags/boxes if available. Approximately 60 pounds of fresh and non-perishable food is distributed to each household.

Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program: The Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program offers residents age 60 and over an opportunity to purchase fresh, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and herbs from certified farmers. Valid from June- October when funded. Please call (608)-369-1059 to apply if you reside Marquette County.
Wisconsin Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program – Senior (FMNP)
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program: Offered through the Marquette County Health Department. WIC is a supplemental nutrition program designed to promote and maintain the health and well-being of nutritionally at-risk pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children.
