Free/Low Cost School Meals: Children may qualify for free or reduced-price school meals, both breakfast and lunch. Availability is based on family income. Information and applications can be provided by your local school.
Marquette County – Children and Family Services: Offers information on Foster and Kinship care. Child Abuse/ Neglect Cases. The Community Response Program, Childcare Information, and the Women, Juvenile justice services, Infants and Children (WIC) program. Also runs the Children’s Long-Term Support Services: Birth to 3, Family Support Program, and the Children’s Long-Term Support Waivers.
- Birth to 3 Program: For children ages birth to three years old. Eligibility is based on a diagnosed disability or significant developmental delay in how a child plays, learns, speaks, and acts. The program values the family’s primary relationship with their child and works in partnership with the family
- Children’s Long-Term Support Waiver: Provides services for children and young adults under the age of 22 with significant developmental, physical, or emotional disabilities. Supports and services are available to help waiver participants and their families to remain in their home or community.
- Family Support Program: Provides individual services and supports to families that include a child with severe disability. The program recognizes that meeting the needs of children who have severe disabilities may place hardships on family’s emotional, physical, and financial resources.
- Katie Beckett Program: For children under 19 years old with long-term disabilities or complex medical needs. Children who are not eligible for other Medicaid programs because their parents’ income or assets are too high may be eligible for Medicaid.
- Community Response Program: Partners with families to reach goals regarding parenting skills, finding housing, and connecting families with community resources.

Marquette County University of Wisconsin – Extension: The teach, learn, lead and serve, by connecting people with the University of Wisconsin, and engaging with them in transforming lives and communities. Services offered include: parent workshops, babysitting certification, soil and water testing, 4-H project guide, family resource directory, parent pact guide, and the Marquette County Barn Quilt program.
